The app helps people write and share stories about their experiences. It aims to reduce isolation by showing that others have lived through similar feelings or events.

The app is not a mental-health or emergency service.

2. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • You may not share your account with anyone else.

3. Your Stories

You own the content you create. By posting a story, you allow us to:

  • Store and display it according to your visibility settings
  • Generate embeddings and similarity suggestions
  • Improve the service

You must not share sensitive personal information about other identifiable people unless you have permission to do so.

4. Visibility and Sharing

  • Private – only you can see the story
  • Members only – visible to logged-in users
  • Public – visible to anyone

You may edit or delete your stories at any time.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use the app to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activity
  • Share content that violates the rights of others
  • Attempt to attack or disrupt the service
  • Post spam, scams, or advertisements

6. AI and Suggested Stories

The app uses AI to suggest stories that may be similar to your own. These suggestions may not always be accurate.

Suggested content may include distressing themes. You are responsible for your own engagement with the material.

7. No Medical or Psychological Advice

The app does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice. If you are in crisis or need urgent help, please contact your local authorities or a trusted crisis hotline.

8. Changes and Availability

We may modify or discontinue parts of the app at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for:

  • Loss or damage from using (or being unable to use) the app
  • Content posted by other users
  • Emotional distress from reading stories

10. Account Suspension

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or place other users at risk.
